I have bought a biker helmet off ebay do i have to wait for it to sign for it?

wIt says estimated 2 working days on the page, should I wait in, does anyone know if people call when delivering things through a courier service on ebay, and also Is it usually morning time they would deliver it? or midday or after 12? any ideas people? thanks
