Are snails more intelligent than people give credit for?

No they are not, snails dont make cars and computers(unless they all live in a secret undergound world where the sanils are geniuses and live in a perfect town with no problems and there all rich), humans are the second smartest mammals on earth, seeing as snails only defense is a crappy little shell i find that there chances of survival very low, we could send them to war with little guns and all but something tells me they wont do much. Spiders are smarter but we dont conrgatualte them.
